Introducing Victoria Chiropractor Dr. Becky Pauly

Years ago, something happened to me that changed my life forever...
I was a typical kid growing up with a typical family. I was a relatively healthy and happy kid. When I got into high school, although I was still happy, I was definitely not healthy. I always had a cold or illness of some sort. ‘The pharmacy’ became my unwanted nickname, as I had every Over-The-Counter medicine in my locker. My typical cycle was sick for two weeks, ‘healthy’ for two weeks, sick for two weeks.. and so on. Now, listen to this…
Eventually, I went off to college where this endless cycle continued. Until I met a doctor, who educated me about how I could boost my immune system and in turn, not be so sick all the time. This doctor was a chiropractor. Being a college student, I was so excited to spend less money on all those medicines that I didn’t like taking anyway! Not only did I save money in the cost to treat these illnesses, I also didn’t need to see my MD as much either. I was naturally keeping my body healthy and happy. I was so impressed with what chiropractic did for me, as well as many other patients in the office, that I eventually chose to go to chiropractic school myself. And, that’s how it happened.
So, after receiving my Bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry from South Dakota State University in Brooking, SD, I headed to Northwestern Chiropractic College. I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern in Bloomington, MN. I also took extra training in children and pregnancy chiropractic care to receive my Fellowship in Chiropractic Pediatric and Pre-natal Care from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. I loved chiropractic school, but was surprised at the intensity and extensiveness of our training there. I am grateful for that and continue to learn new things all the time about natural and alternative health through reading, seminars, colleagues, and other natural health professionals.
Our mission here at ABC Family Chiropractic is to help people of all ages, from 1 day old to a hundred years young, reach their full health potential and their health goals. We do this by providing state of the art chiropractic care and maintaining an energetic and healing environment for our patients, their families and friends. Our team is motivated to serve you in meeting your health goals.
Most patients tell me that they feel at home in our office and that we are part of their family. I take great pride in that, as I see each of our patients as a member of my family and I treat them as such. I treat you as I would treat my Mom, Sister, Dad, Brother, or Grandparent. I'm going to give you my best recommendations, but ultimately it's your decision and no matter what you decide, we will serve you with love and respect, as I would my family.

I grew up on a farm in a small town in South Dakota called Beresford, which is south of Sioux Falls. Most of my family is still in that area. I came to Minnesota to go to school and met my husband, Jason, and here I am today. Jason and I currently reside in Norwood Young America with our son, Dane who turned one on June 18th of 2009 and our yellow lab, Bo. We are expecting our second child in January of 2010. We love spending time with our families as much as we can, so you will often find us traveling back to South Dakota or around Minnesota to visit our family. I also find time to scrapbook, run, read, spend weekends at our cabin, or just hang out with Jason and our son at home.
Personally, I get adjusted by my chiropractor once a week for wellness. My first chiropractor adjusted me for Relief Care, going in only when it hurt. It helped me with my headaches and sports injuries. However, in college, I went through Corrective and Wellness Care and that's when my whole life changed. I was no longer dependent on medications to treat my very frequent colds and illnesses. I still get an occasional cold, but not every other week like I had in the past, thanks to regular chiropractic adjustments.
I want this for you and your family, too. I believe that chiropractic is an essential component to a healthy lifestyle. I’ve seen evidence in my own life and of those around me. Thanks for visiting our site. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we may be of service to you and your family. Give our Victoria office a call and let's arrange a time to explore your options to better health utilizing chiropractic care.
