Introducing ABC Family Chiropractic's
Chiropractic Assistant
Helene Oberbroeckling, CA
When people hear I was born and raised in Southern California, I often hear jokes about the land of “fruits & nuts”, where people prefer avocado and sprout sandwiches to “hot dish.” Truth be told, whether it’s the California girl in me or not, healthful eating, and an overall health and wellness lifestyle has always been a priority for me. I’d rather eat an artfully prepared recipe of real food, say “fruits & nuts”, than a laboratory produced formula, masquerading as ‘food’, and prevalently found in our world of “convenience.”
That is why after a season in life of a successful print advertising career, and another season of life staying at home to raise young children (also successful!), I chose the next season to be one of a health and wellness career, which is what brought me to ABC Family Chiropractic. While you may recognize me as a member of the greeting committee when you walk in our doors, you may not realize how much I genuinely care about your health and wellness, and how happy I am to see that you’ve chosen a wellness practice to be a partner in your mindfully healthy lifestyle.
To that end, I am happy to share that I, too, can be a partner in helping you to achieve optimal wellness and functioning as I am a certified clinician in Nutrition Response Testing (NRT), and am a candidate to soon be a member of the American Association of Drug Free Practitioners (AADFP). NRT is a clinical method in which “weaknesses” in body systems can be identified and aided with specific whole food nutritional supplementation. The nutritional program is crafted for YOUR body’s unique needs, based on the innate intelligence of YOUR body during our initial exam, and is designed to aid your body in repairing itself, without the use of drugs, just as it was intended.
As you can imagine, this method of designed clinical nutrition is the perfect partner to your regular chiropractic care, and is intended to assist you in achieving and maintaining a state of wellness and optimal functioning.
With the busy lives we all lead, we forget that many decisions we make each day impact our health enormously, both in the short term and in the long run. We take these decisions for granted, because they are simple ones, but EACH one is a decision that leads to improved health or decreased health. So the next time you are faced with the decision of what to eat, how much to sleep, whether or not to exercise, relax, or enjoy recreation, remember to make enough choices that benefit your health, wellness and long term functioning. Why not let NRT be one of those great choices? Call today to schedule your appointment (952) 443-3710
